After high school, Adam attended Western Michigan University as well as Kalamazoo Valley Community College where he was studying to become a law enforcement officer. After the events of 9/11, Adam felt the urge to fight for his country and ultimately ended up enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in January of 2003.
